Woodburn Outdoor Power, Inc. began about five years ago as a part of Heckley Auto & Diesel, Inc. Kevin Heckley, owner of Heckley Auto & Diesel, believed that outdoor power equipment would be a good addition to his 13 year old automotive repair business, so he began selling BRANSON Tractors, COUNTRY CLIPPER Zero Turn Mowers and RED MAX handheld power equipment. It was a good decision – he was successful from the very beginning. So successful, in fact, that it became difficult to handle two businesses at once. He asked his good friend, Skip Lehman, if he would be interested in coming alongside and partnering with him and Woodburn Outdoor Power, Inc. was born in March of 2006. Since that time the business has grown to include SNAPPER Mowers, Pressure Washers and Generators as well as parts and service for all makes of power equipment and will soon offer GRASSHOPPER Mowers.
Kevin and his wife Tiffany have been married for 14 years and have 3 daughters. He has been involved in automotive repair for many years, and has owned Heckley Auto & Diesel, Inc. for over 13 years.
Skip and his wife Brenda have been married for over 38 years and have two married sons as well as two grandchildren. Skip spent over 35 years as an over the road truck driver, amassing almost 4,000,000 miles before deciding to spend more time closer to home doing something he had only been able to do as a hobby before – repairing engines and power equipment.
